TODAY IS THE DAY N WE DID IT!!!
remaining as a SOLID GOLD BAND=)))

all the hard work had paid off today and from all the feedback they said that this was the best that we played so far. we all did it w/o any regrets, it was our best that we could. no breaking down on stage which was a really good thing.

there was tis unexpected calmness in me today when i go onstage. i didnt feel nervous at all. inside me was super calm. i duno why but really i have to give myself a pat on my shoulder. i had sucessfully overcome my stage fright, my nervousness only during the las performance. it was quite a pity but as long as i had overcome my own fear, i noe i am GREAT=P

SUNRISE: did well for our section solo, at least we started n ended tgt. n shan said tt at least she heard it was a low sound for our first note. though it wasnt the best tt it is, i noe i had done my best to come in tgt. the flute solo was good. well done adeline. our las note was in tune=)) cos mrs chua hold the note there for quite a while.

DPD: started off well with the horns being really very very superb. it was clear n jus great. when the first three notes came out correctly, it like a sigh of relief for me n also the band. good job heng, shan n lian=)) u all the best. then the trumpet n trombone solo was great as well. a good begining always have a good ending, so we ended well with e eupho solo. emi n peihoon had done well.=) it is really e best tt we played. though i noe we did rush at some places which is something tt we could have done much better. everything was great, it was e best tt we had played b4, even the alumni said so.

when we went down the stage, saw wenjun started crying. then felt like crying too. tears didnt fall until mrs chua said all e things. i can see e happiness on her face n when she said we had played really very well, it is like touched. to noe tt our effort did paid off, it is really very very happy. even though we don't noe e result yet, but i tot tt as long as it was e best we did, e result doesnt matter much[though it does b4 the result was announced]. it was quite pressurising abt e result cos angelican gt a sliver though they had done really very well according to mrs chua. it was really very nervous b4 e result was being announced. rmbing 2 yrs ago we sitted at e hall holdig each other hands waitin for e result. it happened again, with e same result. GOLD=)) shan sitted at e back row, n we hugged each other once again wif the gd result. didnt really cried a lot when i noe e result, cos i guess sort of expected the result, cos to us we really did very good. so far only 10 bands gt gold n 1 band gt GWH as i noe, so we are really truely SOLID GOLD BAND=))
